Construction We are currently building 80 condominium homes for the 55 + market in an historic mill complex on the Merrimack River. If you want a home in a unique, historic New England building this is the place for you. The brick buildings that we are meticulously restoring served as a hat factory during the heyday of felt hats in the late 19th and early 20th century. As we restore each building we follow its existing architecture, resulting in unique homes and interesting details. Phase I - The restoration of the four distinct - yet connected - buildings, upstream from the central chimney, known by their original identifying numbers is now complete and 100% sold/occupied. Exterior: A new sidewalk, complete with replica Victorian streetlamps, that runs the length of these four buildings is in place on the street side of Hatters Point. The river walk and west gazebo, center landscaping, and pergola - an arched walkway - leading from the main entrance down to the water, are all in place for residents and guests to enjoy in the good weather. Four traditional "park benches" provide comfortable places to sit and watch the river and wildlife go by - there are even bald eagles across the river at Maudslay State Park. |
